This is exactly what I think. They can tweak things to avoid the most offenses, but it's always going to be a bit of a minefield. Best they can do is show that they care to make things less offensive, but the source material will always be the source material.
I tend to not believe in leaks at all, so I'm rather hesitant here. What I do believe is that Capcom is indeed planning a RE5 Remake - RE4 Remake's ending sets things up perfectly for that. As for OJ... I could see them packing this into some file in RE5 Remake that Wesker had on Krauser.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who likes the remake so much... I must say I like it slightly better than the original, but that one will forever be iconic, clunky design features or not. (Some of them are so iconic that they're part of the reason why I love it so much.)
I like the black one (not sure if that one was in the video too but I did see a black version). What I would ABSOLUTELY buy is a Los Iluminados chair tho. Haha.
I'm curious as to see what R* is going to do with GTA VI. I really hope it won't be a repeat of what happened to GTA V, what with all the single playder DLCs either getting scrapped or turned into content for the multiplayer mode. I mean we all know a GTA VI multiplayer mode will be there, given...
Can only highly recommend The X Files, especially the first seven seasons or so. It was THE show of my teenage years. The remastered BluRays also look fantastic (what can I say I'm old school I like for things to be on disc). I should binge watch it again at some point, too, but at the moment...
I tend to think part of the reason why Wesker didn't go after the Amber himself is because he never had any intention of actually grabbing it. The way he looks at Krauser while he's handing the Amber over to Osmund really suggests he knows that Krauser as the one the scientists on the island...
Noooo, don't make me choose between Michael Gough and Christopher Jane! I love them both equally for what they bring to the two Osmunds. I love Michael Gough's 'menacing, but cheerful' approach and also Chris Jane's 'menacing and calm but later FURIOUS' approach. But I guess if I really, really...
Never say never. I wouldn't mind yet another take on RE4, but I must also say that this remake pretty much gave me most of what I wanted. So, I guess what I'm saying is that I would be cautious but not against it. Pretty much the same attitude I had towards this remake. lol
I own RE4's Wii version but still bought it again on PS4 (mostly because I'm too old to deal with the Wii's complicated controls these days). So, if you enjoyed RE5, why not buy it again on the console you're using now?
I think maybe Separate Ways will elaborate some more on how the post credits scene fits into the greater scheme of the game. I'm sure they deliberately kept quite a few plot points in the dark (such as U-III, who, in this version of RE4, is the second Verdugo who mysteriously vanishes at some...
